Sarah Siskind, daughter of Howard and Karen Siskind, participated in a ritual bath (mikveh) in accepting the Jewish religion. In the photo with young Sarah from left to right are her paternal grandparents Eliot & Phyllis Siskind, her father and mother, and her maternal grandparents Richard & Diane Meade. Jewish Music Heritage Project Boys & Men's Choir Concert Sunday, February 11, 2007 The Jewish Music Heritage Project hosted their 2nd annual concert at Beth Jacob Synagogue in Baltimore. The choir sang a variety of great sacred prayers set to the classical liturgy of the Eastern European Synagogue. It is the only organization of it's kind in the world (for more information, visit their Web site at www.jmhp.org). Our own Rabbi Moshe Weisblum and his two youngest sons Meir and Natan performed in the choir, each getting solos or duets.

Purim Megillah Reading Saturday night, March 3, 2007
About 100 people attended the reading of the Megillah Esther on Purim on Saturday night, March 3. The spirit of celebration was alive and well, as people enjoyed the mitzvah of hearing the megillah being read.
