Kneseth Israel Nursery School/Aleph Bet Cleanup DaySunday, July 22, 2007 Over a dozen volunteers from Kneseth Israel and Aleph Bet Jewish Day School gave up their Sunday morning to come to the synagogue to paint, landscape, and perform many tasks for the playground and the equipment used by children attending the nursery school and Jewish day school.

Wedding of Rebecca Cohen and Allen KlichevskiSunday, August 19, 2007 Kneseth Israel was the scene of the wedding of Rebecca Cohen, daughter of Allen and Judi Cohen and granddaughter of Donald and Esther Cohen. Over 200 people attended and celebrated.

Bowie Baysox Baseball Game FundraiserSunday, August 26, 2007 A group outing to see the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles AA minor league affiliate) was organized to raise proceeds for the Kneseth Israel Hebrew School. A total of 37 tickets were sold, and many Special Olympics athletes and their families were guests of the synagogue.
At left, a kosher pre-game meal is enjoyed at the synagogue. At right is the view from the seats at Prince George's Stadium, the home of the Bowie Baysox. Every seat in the park is a good seat.
